Namrata Desai founded Fruity Florae in 2021, bringing her instinct for beautiful things together with the discipline of building a business from the ground up.
Her journey began in early childhood education, with Prayaan, the learning centre she founded in 2010. Today, that same care for people shapes how she curates gifts, builds relationships and leads her creative venture. Her work also creates seasonal opportunities for women, with up to five joining during periods of high demand.
She works with small artisans, independent producers and women-led organisations across India — connecting their work with people looking for something personal.

Fruity Florae has grown through farmers’ markets, exhibitions and word of mouth. These are the moments when a carefully arranged basket becomes a conversation — and a conversation becomes a relationship.
Our archive includes a stall at Shakti Greens & Banquets, alongside displays of gift boxes, floral baskets and our pantry range. Ahmedabad Farmers’ Market also featured Fruity Florae’s nuts and seeds in its Winter Market 2023 vendor line-up.
